April 25, 2010- What we thought would be a simple 30 minute job to adjust the seat belts, turned into an all-day ordeal. Some of the mounting bolts became galled, and thus we had to cut the bolts off and replace them. The next task is to build a shifter relocation bracket, to move the shifter to a more ergonomic position. Other issues that require attention, though not as dire, are to extend the steering column by about two inches, completely replace the entire throttle pedal and cable system, and to convert the OEM-style brakes to a Wilwood system.

April 24, 2010- We made the long venture from Mansfield, Texas to Baytown, Texas today to pick up our new race car- a 1968 Chevy Camaro. It has been sitting in a barn for a year without being ran, and we capitalized on the opportunity. Once we got the car home and had a few neighbors take interest, we started the process of cataloging the car. We recieved little information about it, as we are the 3rd owners, so every pbit of information we can find on it are helpful. So far, we know it is a #361959 block, with Dart Pro-1 345 heads and an Edelbrock Victor 454-R Manifold. We were told the Nitrous kits are a 175 plate and 250 fogger, we have not decided if we will remove the nitrous or not.
